Northern Maine Gallery
Our New England meanderings included two separate stints in Maine. For the first and northernmost of these, we stayed in a small lobster fishing village called Corea. We chose this location to be close to Acadia National Park (but away from touristy Bar Harbor). Acadia NP is the only one of the USA’s 59 national parks that is located in New England. Having previously visited some of the national parks in the southern US and California, we suspected that Acadia would be well worth the drive up north. We were not disappointed.

Incredible. Love the windy sunset at Schoonic Point.
